What is a wedding officiant?

Marriage License and Legalities/Day of the Ceremony
Do we need a marriage license?
Yes, you must obtain a valid Texas marriage license from the County Clerk’s office before your wedding. I cannot perform the ceremony without it.
How soon after the ceremony will we receive our marriage certificate?
The County Clerk will issue your official marriage certificate once the license is processed, usually within a few weeks.
What should we have ready on the wedding day?
You’ll need your marriage license, valid IDs, and any items for unity rituals, such as candles, sand, or cultural artifacts.
Can you help with the marriage license process?
While I don’t issue marriage licenses, I can guide you on where and how to obtain one. After the ceremony, I ensure the license is signed and filed.
Will you attend the wedding rehearsal?
