My Notary Shoppe

This MAILBOX Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between you (“CUSTOMER” or “You”) and My Notary Shoppe for the use of and services related to the rental of digital mailbox services and address usage (the “MAILBOX”) under the following terms and conditions:

• 1. Compliance with Conditions:
  These terms (“Conditions”) govern your use of our services, including scanning, forwarding, online mail management, and other services (“Services”). We reserve the right to change these Conditions at any time without notice. By continuing to use the Services, you agree to these modifications. Your request for any Services acts as express authorization for My Notary Shoppe to perform these tasks on your behalf.
  
  2. Authorization:
  You authorize My Notary Shoppe to scan the exterior of your mail. My Notary Shoppe reserves the right to decline scanning if it deems content obscene, violent, or illegal. Additionally, you authorize My Notary Shoppe to discard or recycle standard mail, including flyers, circulars, and catalogs, without notice.
  
  3. Services Provided:
  My Notary Shoppe may perform the following services for your mail:
  *Forward mail to a specified address
  *Forward mail to another account
  *Open and scan the contents
  *Shred or recycle your mail
  *Store mail/parcels physically
  *Opt in/out of mailing lists
  *Unpack parcels for reshipment
  *Consolidate parcels for shipment
  *Other services available on our website.
  Note: You are responsible for providing correct instructions for services, including the associated costs. My Notary Shoppe is not responsible for items recycled or shredded due to customer requests.
  
  4. Mail Delivery:
  Each person or entity must complete U.S. Postal Service Form 1583 to receive mail at your designated My Notary Shoppe address. You must update Form 1583 and this Agreement when any information changes. My Notary Shoppe will accept all mail, including certified and registered mail. Any packages not collected within two (2) days may incur a storage fee of $3.00/day. Refused mail may be returned to the sender, and any related costs will be your responsibility. You must provide two valid forms of identification upon registration.
  
  5. Permitted Use:
  You agree not to use My Notary Shoppe’s services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes. All use must comply with federal, state, and local laws.
  
  6. Confidentiality:
  This Agreement and Form 1583 will remain confidential unless disclosed by law enforcement or other governmental agencies.
  
  7. Possession of Mailbox:
  The individual possessing the MAILBOX credentials is authorized to collect mail. In the event of death or incapacity, we will require proper documentation to release mail.
  
  8. Billing, Fees & Cancellation:
  Late payments will incur a $9.99 fee after 24 hours and a $29.99 fee after six (6) days. If you receive excessive mail, we may ask you to upgrade your mailbox or pay additional charges. Recurring payment cancellations after three (3) occurrences will result in a requirement for six-month or one-year subscriptions. Cash payments must be made four (4) months in advance. Cancellations require 30 days’ notice, and any payments due during this time will be deducted.
  Reinstatement Fee: $29.99.
  
  9. Termination and Mail Forwarding:
  My Notary Shoppe may terminate this Agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, you may request mail forwarding for up to one (1) month at a cost of postage and a $10/month storage fee for the first month. If no forwarding instructions are provided, mail may be discarded after ten (10) days.
  
  10. Term of Agreement:
  The Agreement remains valid for the initial period and any renewal terms, at the discretion of My Notary Shoppe.
  
  11. Indemnity:
  You agree to indemnify My Notary Shoppe from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the MAILBOX.
  
  12. Limited Liability:
  My Notary Shoppe’s total liability shall not exceed $100.
  
  13. Changes to the Agreement:
  We reserve the right to modify the Agreement. If you do not accept changes, you must terminate the Agreement.
  
  14. Inspection:
  My Notary Shoppe reserves the right to inspect any suspicious or damaged packages.
  
  15. Governing Law:
  This Agreement is governed by Texas law, and any disputes will be resolved in Texas courts.
